With the Covid-19 pandemic, a lot of businesses had to stop or pause their operations. They had to. The incertainty prompted a lot of companies to fire their staff 'preventively', until the situation would clear out. This created a lot of anxiety on employees which were already at the edge of quitting their jobs. It sparkled what is today called 'the Great Resignation'.
